I Love This Wedding: Pink & Orange Tapas Wedding

Hey friends! Check out this orange and pink NYC wedding from Brides.com HERE! I love the colors and hip design, the pillow covered lounge couches, orchid & carnation globes, vodka infused lemonade station, and super creative not to mention delicious tapas options. I want to throw a party like this now! The floral design is so reminiscent of Fleur Du Jour, and the view looks like something from Camelot Club or The Third Floor in Baton Rouge! Love it all! Happy Friday! xoxo, Julie

Look at these white lounge couches and gold chiavari bar chairs!

The event designer used floral Oasis foam to form mod globes of inexpensive carnations. Orchids can send the flower bill sky-high, so he used them only as delicate accents. Amazing!

Check out the frozen kumquats, orchids, and rosemary sprigs inside ice balls in the glasses at this vodka infused lemonade station!

    ZGallery Pillows!

Freshly baked bread with salt (for commitment), pepper (for protection), cardamom (for love), and caraway (for good health)! Don't forget olive oil!

Mini Moroccan lamb kabobs over couscous, paired with rose tea.

    Spiced chicken and beef empanadas.

Fish and chips paired with mini glasses of microbrews. I'd use Abita or Tin Roof beer! And did you see the printed paper the fries are wrapped in? Adorable!

Macaroni and cheese in herbed pastry nests with choice of toppings (from top: jalapeños, bacon, and chipotle cream). YUM!

Mini tuna tacos paired with margarita shooters. Someone cut those limes with precision! Love it!

Granny Smith apples with brie and walnuts, paired with tasting-size glasses of Sancerre.

Shots of spicy ginger carrot soup swirled with crème fraîche.

Have a waiter circulate among the crowd carrying a tray filled with treats, including plenty of prefilled bags so guests don't have to scoop their own. You can get staffing from Billy Berger, LLC in Baton Rouge.

In lieu of asking your friends to sign a guest book, have them jot down their wishes on hanging tags and sling them on a "tree" made from manzanita branches.

Brownies get ready for their close-up with the addition of silver-leaf sprinkles. Dessert tiers were assembled by positioning plastic discs on bamboo vases. Cute!

    Ribbons!
