I'm calling it now..the next big food revolution. Fonuts! As in faux-nuts. Doughnuts that are baked, not fried, and with gluten free options! The shop just opened in LA (Los Angeles, not Louisiana..boo) and the pastry chef uses different methods of steaming and baking at high heat to replicate the light and fluffy texture of a doughnut -- without frying!
